A Singapore PR consultancy can help you organise and prepare an application. It cannot decide whether you receive permanent residence, guarantee approval or provide special access to ICA. Whether the service is worth paying for depends on the support you need and the written scope you are offered.
You can apply directly through ICA’s PR e-Service. Hiring an agency is optional. ICA states that it has no affiliation with external migration agencies and does not endorse professional immigration consultancy services for PR applications.
Applying yourself may suit you if you can follow the official instructions, prepare the required documents and check the application carefully. Paid help may be useful if you want support organising records, preparing the forms or explaining relevant circumstances clearly. Compare that practical work with the fee before deciding.
The services depend on the agreement. A consultancy may help review your circumstances, identify required documents, organise information, prepare application forms and review supporting writing. Ask what is included, what you must provide and how many revisions are covered.
At TIP, the published PR packages include a comprehensive document checklist, application form preparation, personalised cover-letter support and post-submission and post-outcome advice. Package differences include consultation access, the team assigned to your case and writing support. Read the current PR package details and confirm the applicable terms in your written quotation.
ICA considers factors including family ties, economic contributions, qualifications, age, family profile and length of residency. Preparation should accurately describe your circumstances and evidence; it should not invent achievements or treat a cover letter as a way to overcome eligibility requirements.
Consider it when you need help organising a family application, reviewing inconsistent or incomplete records, understanding the preparation steps, or checking information from a previous application. These are reasons to seek assistance with the work, not evidence that an agency will secure approval.
If you have received a rejection, ask what the review will cover and whether an appeal is included in the package. Compare the service terms for an appeal with those for a new application. Reusing the same materials without reviewing relevant changes is not, by itself, a clear reason to pay for another attempt.
List the tasks you can do yourself and those for which you want help. Then compare a written quote against those needs. Check the total fees, government charges, taxes where applicable, translation or notarisation expenses, revision limits and support after submission.
Evaluate communication and document handling as well as client reviews. A review of a consultation measures a different experience from one describing the full application service. Another client’s approval does not predict your outcome.
For a detailed comparison checklist, read how to choose immigration consultants in Singapore. Take time to compare providers and avoid signing solely because of an approval claim or an immediate discount.
You can book a complimentary consultation to discuss your circumstances and the scope of TIP’s PR application support. Review our personal data terms before sharing documents. The purpose is to understand your options and the preparation involved; the decision on permanent residence remains with ICA.
Please share with us some details about your needs, we will get back to you.
